To ensure that the 3rd Assault Unit's communications do not break down in the middle of battle
We are assembling 1,600 meters of RG-58 coaxial cable and 470 connectors for the communications unit of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, Military Unit A4638.
The soldiers use these materials to assemble communication lines: they cut the cable, crimp the connectors, and install jacks on equipment and antennas. The unit still purchases a significant portion of these consumables at its own expense. The goal is 95,000 ₴.

Why Now
The guys from the communications unit recorded a message for us:
“We’re deploying communications networks in places where every second counts for the lives of our comrades. To keep these networks fast, reliable, and secure from the enemy, we constantly need cables, connectors, tools, and other supplies. We purchase a significant portion of these items with our own funds.”
This is the communications unit of the 1st Assault Battalion of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, military unit A4638. In a letter, the commander writes that the unit is engaged in combat missions and offensive operations in eastern Ukraine.
On August 13, Commander Major Yaroslav Levenets signed a letter to the fund with a list of supplies: 1,600 meters of RG-58 cable and 470 connectors—UHF sockets, UHF plugs, and BNC connectors. This is a consumable used on an ongoing basis: it is cut to length and crimped to make cables, and, according to the soldiers, the unit largely purchases it at its own expense.
The foundation has been working with the 3rd Assault Battalion since February 2023—15 transfer documents. Among the items previously transferred are items specific to communications personnel: a log-periodic antenna and two electronic warfare systems.
Where Your Money Will Go
We purchase directly from the supplier, without intermediaries. We transfer the goods to the unit based on a delivery and acceptance certificate signed by the commander and publish this certificate in the report on this page.
The prices in the estimate are retail prices as of August 15, 2026. The items are small and in high demand, so the order will most likely have to be split among several vendors: no single vendor has 150 sockets, 150 UHF connectors, and 170 BNC connectors in stock at once. If the price changes by the time of payment, we’ll show the actual price in the report.
We’ll start the purchase with half the total amount. The cable and connectors are divisible items, so the first batch will be sent to the department without waiting for the full payment.
