We ran this fundraiser together with the Fenrir Foundation UA charitable foundation - a partner foundation that brought the unit's request to us. Збір закрито · допомогу передано

We delivered everything we raised for

The artillery battery of the 158th Brigade received material to line two vehicles, a power station, tow ropes and a jump starter.

The fundraiser is closed, procurement is complete, and the aid was handed over on 29.07.2026 under acceptance certificate No. 231.

Where Did the Money Go

We raised 97,162 ₴ toward a goal of 87,000 ₴. Purchases for four items totaled 95,655 ₴. Everything was transferred via a single acceptance and transfer certificate No. 231 dated July 29, 2026, in the city of Sumy.

The difference—1,507 ₴, or 1.5% of the total raised—was used to cover the fund’s administrative expenses.

Who raised this money

This was a joint fundraising effort, and we will not attribute credit to any single party. We opened a separate charitable account for this project—it was funded by our partner, the Charitable Organization “Fenrir Foundation UA”: 34 donations ranging from 20 ₴ to 3,000 ₴, from June 10 to July 1, 2026, totaling 9,314.67 ₴. The remainder— 87,847.33 ₴ —was raised by donors of the “International Unity Movement.”

We do not estimate this amount by eye: it was compiled from nine daily payment logs to the charity bank (from June 10 to July 1, 2026), the last of which is dated July 2, 2026.

Each item was paid for only after its specifications were verified with the unit. Three out of four items had to be replaced—what the unit requested was not available on the market:

  • Material for vehicle upholstery. The unit’s letter specified a thickness of 3.9 mm—such fabric is not available for sale—so, together with the soldiers, we settled on 4.5 mm. We delivered 20 meters of Pointex AP multilayer textile material: 100% polyester, puncture-resistant per EN 12568. It resists punctures and cuts, but it is not aramid and does not provide ballistic protection. In previous reports, we referred to it as “Kevlar”—that wording was inaccurate, and we are correcting it.
  • Charging station. Instead of the EcoFlow River 2 Pro, we opted for the RIVER 3 MAX PLUS—a kit consisting of a base unit and an additional battery, totaling 858 Wh. This provides power at the outpost without a generator, which makes noise and gives away our position.
  • Tow ropes. The request specified 15 metric tons—such ropes are not available for sale. The unit confirmed that 10 metric tons are sufficient for their vehicles.
  • Battery charger. The soldiers requested a more powerful model than the standard one—we selected the Dnipro-M JS-70.

A video thank-you from the unit

The message was recorded on behalf of the personnel of the self-propelled artillery division, military unit A5002. In the video, the soldiers mention the amount “93 thousand” and talk about “Kevlar protection”—these are their words; the exact figures and material composition are listed above and in the report.

Thank you to everyone who took part

More than two hundred people chipped in for this fundraiser - with contributions from 10 ₴ to 22,249 ₴. Each of them became a metre of material, a tow rope or an hour of the power station running at a position. The artillerymen of the 158th Brigade thank you - their video is above.

Питання про збір

How much was raised and how much was spent?
We raised 97,162 ₴ against a target of 87,000 ₴. Under acceptance certificate No. 231, aid worth 95,655 ₴ was handed over - four categories, 25 items. The difference of 1,507 ₴ (1.5% of the amount raised) went to the foundation's administrative costs.
Why did the budget say “Kevlar” while polyester was delivered?
We took the specification from the unit's letter - 3.9 mm. During procurement it turned out that this thickness corresponds to a puncture-resistant polyester material rather than aramid. The material goes on lining the vehicles, the unit approved it, so we completed the purchase - but calling it “Kevlar” is wrong, and in this report we give the exact name: Pointex AP, 100% polyester, EN 12568.
Why did the models change compared with the fundraiser?
Three items from the unit's letter are not available on the market: the 3.9 mm fabric, the 15-tonne tow ropes and a base-model jump starter that would suit the soldiers. We agreed every substitution with the unit before paying.
How is the handover confirmed?
Acceptance certificate No. 231 dated 29.07.2026, with the signatures and stamps of the foundation and the military unit. The scan is in the “Documents for this fundraiser” section; the commander's surname is redacted.
Who else took part in this fundraiser and how much did they bring?
The request from Military Unit A5002 was brought to us by our colleagues at the Fenrir Foundation UA, and we ran the fundraiser jointly. The partner's contribution is a separate charity jar we opened for this project: 9,314.67 ₴, 34 contributions from 20 ₴ to 3,000 ₴. The remaining 87,847.33 ₴ was raised by donors of the International Unity Movement.
