Fundraising Results for the All-Ukrainian Children’s Charity Soccer Tournament, the GOLDEN UNION CUP
The fundraiser in support of the All-Ukrainian Children’s Charity Soccer Tournament, the GOLDEN UNION CUP, has been successfully completed. Thanks to the support of donors, the “INTERNATIONAL UNITY MOVEMENT” Foundation contributed to the implementation of all three stages of the tournament, helping the organizers host the competition at a high level.
As part of the project, funding was provided to cover organizational needs, establish the prize fund, and meet other expenses necessary for holding the tournament. As a result, hundreds of young soccer players from across Ukraine had the opportunity to take part in a true sporting celebration, compete for awards, make new friends, and enjoy unforgettable experiences.
How much was raised in donations to support the GOLDEN UNION CUP tournament?
As part of the project to support the GOLDEN UNION CUP, a nationwide children’s charity soccer tournament, 377,160 hryvnias were donated.
Thanks to this support, we were able to fund all three stages of the tournament, which took place in various cities across Ukraine. Every contribution became part of a greater cause—giving children the opportunity to continue playing sports even under the difficult conditions of wartime.
The Importance of the Fundraiser for GOLDEN UNION CUP Participants
During wartime, supporting youth sports is especially important. Soccer helps children stay active and develop team spirit, discipline, and self-confidence. Participating in tournaments gives them the chance to take their minds off the realities of war—at least for a little while—to experience the atmosphere of real athletic competition, and simply to be children.
Thanks to our joint efforts, we were able to ensure that all stages of the tournament took place and create a safe space for young athletes to grow, socialize, and achieve new victories.
