Fundraising Results for the All-Ukrainian Children’s Charity Soccer Tournament, the GOLDEN UNION CUP

The fundraiser in support of the All-Ukrainian Children’s Charity Soccer Tournament, the GOLDEN UNION CUP, has been successfully completed. Thanks to the support of donors, the “INTERNATIONAL UNITY MOVEMENT” Foundation contributed to the implementation of all three stages of the tournament, helping the organizers host the competition at a high level.
As part of the project, funding was provided to cover organizational needs, establish the prize fund, and meet other expenses necessary for holding the tournament. As a result, hundreds of young soccer players from across Ukraine had the opportunity to take part in a true sporting celebration, compete for awards, make new friends, and enjoy unforgettable experiences.

How much was raised in donations to support the GOLDEN UNION CUP tournament?

As part of the project to support the GOLDEN UNION CUP, a nationwide children’s charity soccer tournament, 377,160 hryvnias were donated.
Thanks to this support, we were able to fund all three stages of the tournament, which took place in various cities across Ukraine. Every contribution became part of a greater cause—giving children the opportunity to continue playing sports even under the difficult conditions of wartime.

The Importance of the Fundraiser for GOLDEN UNION CUP Participants

During wartime, supporting youth sports is especially important. Soccer helps children stay active and develop team spirit, discipline, and self-confidence. Participating in tournaments gives them the chance to take their minds off the realities of war—at least for a little while—to experience the atmosphere of real athletic competition, and simply to be children.
Thanks to our joint efforts, we were able to ensure that all stages of the tournament took place and create a safe space for young athletes to grow, socialize, and achieve new victories.

Goal: To support the GOLDEN UNION CUP, a children’s charity soccer tournament, in various cities across Ukraine

The “INTERNATIONAL UNITY MOVEMENT” Charitable Foundation has joined in supporting the nationwide children’s charity tournament, the GOLDEN UNION CUP, organized by the GOLDEN UNION Foundation. Our goal is to help young soccer players experience the atmosphere of major-league sports even while the country is at war, and to give children the opportunity to grow, develop, and experience positive emotions through soccer.
As part of the project, we provided financial support to cover organizational expenses, establish the prize fund, and meet other needs necessary for holding the tournament from the first whistle to the final match. This is our contribution to creating a safe, high-quality, and well-organized sporting event for children from different regions of Ukraine.

Who is this youth soccer support project for?

The project is aimed at children and young soccer players who will participate in GOLDEN UNION CUP tournaments in various cities across Ukraine. For many of them, this is an opportunity not only to test their skills on the soccer field but also to socialize with peers, gain new experiences, and experience the atmosphere of real sports competitions.
During wartime, youth sports take on special significance. Regular training, teamwork, and participation in tournaments help children maintain an active lifestyle and develop discipline, responsibility, and self-confidence. Such events create a space where childhood continues despite difficult circumstances, and sports remain a source of growth, motivation, and new opportunities.

How We Support the Tournament

The support provided by the foundation is aimed at funding the organization of the tournament, providing the prize pool, and covering the associated expenses necessary to hold the competition at the appropriate level. This allows the organizers to focus on what matters most—creating a high-quality sporting event for children.
We are convinced that supporting children’s sports initiatives is an important investment in the future. Every tournament is an opportunity for children to continue doing what they love, develop their skills, and maintain their belief that even in the most difficult times, there is room for team spirit, fair play, and new victories.
