This collection has become an important support for a person who is going through a difficult stage of recovery after surgery and needs constant treatment for the stable functioning of the cardiovascular system.
How much money was raised to buy medicine for Valentina
Within the framework of the collection, we managed to accumulate the necessary amount to fully cover the course of medical treatment. All funds were used exclusively for the purchase of medicines in accordance with official medical prescriptions.
Thanks to each donation, we managed to quickly cover the need and provide Valentyn with vital medicines without delay in treatment.
Importance of the collection for recovery after surgery
After cardiac stenting, continuous intake of prescribed medications is critical. It is drug therapy that helps to avoid complications, maintain stable heart function, and ensure full recovery after surgery.
For the elderly, the cost of such treatment often becomes an excessive financial burden. That is why the support of philanthropists in such projects is extremely important and allows us to provide the necessary medical care in a timely manner.
Gratitude to the Foundation’s community
The International Unity Movement Foundation is sincerely grateful to everyone who contributed to this fundraiser. Your support has become a real help for a person who needed treatment and care.
Each donation, spreading the word and words of support helped to close this project and ensure that Valentyna can recover from her surgery in peace. Together we prove that caring and mutual assistance can change people’s lives for the better.
Collection target
Goal: to buy medicines to restore the cardiovascular system after surgery
We are launching a targeted collection for medicines for Valentyna, a resident of a small village in the Kirovohrad region. In April 2026, she underwent a planned heart surgery at the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, and now needs long-term medication to restore and maintain the cardiovascular system.
The doctors have compiled a list of medications to be taken daily without interruption. This is not a one-time purchase, but a course that determines the effectiveness of recovery after surgery and the quality of life in the coming months.
For whom we are raising funds for medicines
Valentina is a 64-year-old woman from Kirovograd region, retired. She has been diagnosed with coronary heart disease, second-degree hypertension, atrial fibrillation and type 2 diabetes. In April, after an examination at the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, she underwent coronary artery stenting, an operation after which it is critical to follow the medication regimen prescribed by doctors.
The cost of a full course of medications is over 76 thousand hryvnias. It is impossible to cover this amount from a pension alone, and a skip in medication after stenting creates a direct risk of complications.
All the help is targeted - the medicines were purchased from an official pharmaceutical supplier and handed over to Valentyna personally under an acceptance certificate. Every penny goes directly to prescription drugs, without intermediaries.
How much to raise and what kind of medicines
The total amount of the collection is UAH 76 123.69, which is the full cost of the course according to the medical prescriptions of the Heart Institute.
We plan to purchase and transfer the medicines within the collection:
This is a complete list of medications that Valentyna must take daily as prescribed by her doctor. Without them, recovery after surgery is impossible.
Each contribution to this collection is a real support for a person who is now fighting for her health. By helping to close this collection, we together ensure Valentina’s quiet recovery and the opportunity to return to a full life.
