How one of the largest crypto exchanges headed by a Kharkiv resident supports the country and the army

At a difficult time for the country, when the culture of donations has become a commonplace for every Ukrainian and business, our foundation strives to spread the life-giving power of charity and emphasize the importance of every hryvnia, deed and initiative. In the endless stream of sad news, this has a great impact, as it not only supports but also unites and inspires people to do good deeds. And then, out of this tumultuous and disturbing stream, hopeful news about the results of the rear support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emerges. Like this video message from Yuriy Fedorenko, commander of the Achilles battalion of the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Ivan Sirko.



That’s how we learned about the powerful support for the battalion - a batch of drones worth more than 4 million hryvnias from the director of the WhiteBIT crypto exchange, Volodymyr Nosov.

WhiteBIT is known far beyond the country’s borders as one of the largest crypto exchanges in Europe, not only for its blockchain technologies but also for its systematic support of Ukraine. Among them are cryptocurrency solutions for charity, which have already raised more than USD 100 million for military and humanitarian aid to the country, as well as cooperation with more than 50 charitable foundations, including the UNITED24 fundraising platform, where the company has donated UAH 10 million.

Ukrainians probably still remember the triumphant purchase of the crystal microphone for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 from the Kalush Orchestra auction for a record-breaking $900,000. Similar to how cryptocurrencies from around the world are quickly converted into hryvnias thanks to the WhiteBIT exchange, all the money for the crystal lot was successfully converted into drones for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

And now, a new batch of drones from the head of WhiteBIT is helping the soldiers of the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade to defend Kharkiv region, the native land of the benefactor, who seems to be unable to develop the technologies of the future without a peaceful future for Ukraine. A swarm of DJI Mavic 3, DJI Mavic 3T and DJI Matrice 350 RTK drones worth UAH 4 million is already performing combat missions at the front, terrifying the enemy and saving the lives of our defenders.

This story has inspired our team tremendously and definitely deserves to be shared with the whole country. We are convinced that goodness should not remain in the shadows because it unites people around a common goal and a great dream - a peaceful, free and indivisible Ukraine.

With such a huge community of conscious people, volunteers and companies, the power of charity will never fade away, but will only grow and light the way to peace and victory.
