The INTERNATIONAL UNITY MOVEMENT charitable foundation was registered on October 3, 2022, and received its first donation on November 20. Since then, the foundation has accumulated 95.6 thousand contributions worth UAH 74.8 million to close 78 appeals for military and humanitarian assistance.
"A donation is not charity, but a sacred duty of those who are not in the trenches"
- this is the motto of Vladislav Spiridovich, director and ideological inspirer of the charity foundation. Since the first days of the war, he has rallied a team of volunteers and entrepreneurs to provide the Ukrainian Defense Forces with everything they need. Since then, he has been personally finding out the current needs of the units, carefully selecting suppliers and manufacturers, testing equipment and participating in the testing of equipment.
Today, the Foundation maintains close ties with the command of the 3rd Separate Mechanized Brigade, the 101st Brigade of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine and the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
For his dedication to his work, Vladyslav Spiridovych has earned the respect of the military, as evidenced by the large number of gratitude and awards, both personal and addressed to the entire team of the charitable foundation.
However, the highest gratitude for the International Unity Movement is to see how Ukrainians tirelessly support the army with donations. And the highest reward is to strengthen the combat capability of units and save the lives of our defenders. Over the 2 years of charitable activity, 40 military units have received assistance from the Foundation’s community. Every hryvnia converted into military equipment turns into a real result on the battlefield. Drones, optics, communications, satellite modems, charging stations, electronic warfare equipment and other important items are the result of joint efforts and unity of the people: concerned Ukrainians and tireless volunteers.
All information about the funds raised and spent by the charitable community of the Foundation is available on the website in the "Reports" section. "UNITY INTERNATIONAL MOVEMENT strives for the most transparent and understandable reporting, so for better perception, it visualizes data on all receipts and expenditures of the foundation with the help of eloquent graphs in real time. In addition, each fundraising and project page has its own separate report in the "Receipts" tab, which is also generated online.
Reporting is an important, but not the only part of charitable activities that demonstrates the transparency and responsibility of the foundation. "In the spring of 2024, UNITY INTERNATIONAL MOVEMENT went even further and became the first Ukrainian foundation to be certified according to ISO 37301:2021 for compliance with international laws, regulations and quality standards. In addition, the foundation officially joined the global process of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, including international and local partnerships. All for the sake of even more effective management of the Foundation and even greater results for achieving a just peace and restoring our country.
We are immensely grateful to the Foundation’s huge community of benefactors for their trust and support of the military training and social projects. At the time of writing, this includes 24,805 people and 312 companies! Your regular, even small contributions are important bricks that build an irrevocable path to a great victory.
