The Charitable Foundation "INTERNATIONAL UNITY MOVEMENT" was registered on October 3, 2022, and received the first donation on November 20. Since then, the fund has accumulated 95.6 thousand contributions in the amount of UAH 74.8 million to close 78 appeals for military and humanitarian aid.
"Donation is not charity, but a sacred duty of those who are not in the trenches"
— this is the motto of the director and ideological inspirer of the charitable foundation Vladyslav Spiridovych. From the first days of the war, he rallied a team of volunteers and entrepreneurs to provide the Defense Forces of Ukraine with everything they needed. From that time until now, he personally finds out the current needs of the departments, carefully selects suppliers and manufacturers, tests equipment and participates in equipment tests.
Currently, the foundation maintains close ties with the command of the 3rd Assault Brigade, the 101st Brigade of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine and the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
For his dedication to his work, Vladislav Spiridovich earned the respect of the military, as evidenced by a considerable number of gratitudes and awards, both personal and addressed to the entire team of the charitable foundation.
However, the highest gratitude for the "INTERNATIONAL UNITY MOVEMENT" is to see how Ukrainians tirelessly support the army with donations. And the highest award is to strengthen the combat capability of units and save the lives of our defenders. Over the 2 years of charitable activity, 40 military units have received assistance from the foundation’s community. Every hryvnia converted into military equipment turns into a real result on the battlefield. Drones, optics, communications, satellite modems, charging stations, electronic warfare equipment, and other important things are the result of the joint efforts and unity of the people: caring Ukrainians and tireless volunteers.
All information about the funds raised and spent by the foundation’s charitable community is available on the website in the "Reports" section. "INTERNATIONAL MOVEMENT OF UNITY" strives for the most transparent and understandable reporting, therefore, for better perception, it visualizes data on all receipts and expenditures of the fund with the help of eloquent graphs in real time. In addition, each page with the collection and the project contains its own separate report in the "Receipts" tab, which is also generated online.
Reporting is an important, but not the only part of charitable activities, which testifies to the transparency and responsibility of the foundation. "INTERNATIONAL MOVEMENT OF UNITY" went even further, and in the spring of 2024 became the first Ukrainian foundation to be certified ISO 37301:2021 for compliance with international laws, norms and quality standards. In addition, the Foundation has officially joined the global process of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, including international and local partnerships. All for the sake of even more effective management of the foundation and even greater results for achieving a just peace and restoring the native country.
