Who can apply for help

What kind of assistance does the International Unity Movement provide?

Step-by-step instructions: how to apply to the International Unity Movement Foundation
Step 1. Formulate the need:
- Describe exactly what is needed: category (humanitarian/military), quantity, technical characteristics, urgency.
- Specify who the recipients of the assistance are (community, unit) and the expected result.
- Add geography and timeframe. This approach reduces the time it takes to review an application for assistance.
Step 2. Prepare supporting documents
- Individuals: passport data, TIN, certificates of status/circumstances (if any), contacts.
- Communities: a letter from the local government/institution, registration data, responsible person.
- For the Armed Forces of Ukraine: an official letter of application on a letterhead with a signature and seal, as well as the materials specified in a separate section.
- High-quality scans/photos, clear file names, and a brief description of each document will speed up the process of getting help.
Step 3. Prepare visual evidence
- Photo/video of the need (warehouse, living conditions, equipment, etc.). Video and photo materials will be used on social media and on the website for reporting purposes.
- For subdivisions, a short video message with an introduction and specific requests.
- Links to publications or reports if they have received support before.
Step 4. Submit the request and save the confirmation
- After submission, expect a confirmation email with the number of your request.
Step 5. Respond to the foundation’s requests promptly
- The team may ask for clarification, additional documents, or a change in the format of the application.
- Quick and complete responses increase the chances of getting a decision quickly.
Step 6. Decision and next steps
- In case of a positive decision, the nomenclature, terms, and logistics (pickup, shipment, and delivery point) are agreed upon.
- If there are currently not enough resources, your request may be added to the priority queue or alternatives may be offered.
Step 7. Communication and reporting
-
Keep your correspondence in one thread, referring to the request number.
-
After receiving help, if possible, provide a short report/photo - this builds trust and helps others.
-
For units and communities, a public thank you or report on social media promotes transparency and mobilizes support.
